Hard Cheese Grating and Shredding
8 oz / 200g Retail Packaged Grated Parmesan Cheese
The Hard Cheese Grating and Shredding Line has shredding production rates up to 5,000 lbs./hr. The hard cheese is cubed through an MS40 hard cheese cutter. The cubes are then conveyed up a metering belt and fed into a shredder or high speed grinder for grated product. The shredder or grinder can be changed out in minutes to accomodate different production requirements. The cheese then drops onto a collection shaker where the starch/cellulose is applied. From there the product is transferred to the tumble drum for mixing and then transferred to the packaging area.
