Tumble / Mixing Drums

Marchant Schmidt, Inc. offers a proven method of blending and mixing food products while minimizing product damage. A full line of Tumble/Mixing drums are available based on various product flow rates and retention times. Bi-directional flights formed into the sidewall of the drum ensure a smooth and gentle product transfer. Unlike bolt-in blade-style flights, a formed flight discourages product build-up, reduces cleanup time and removes sources that harbor contaminants. Dry Powder Dispensers or a Liquid Spray Applicator can be combined with a Tumble/Mixing drum for coating products with salt, spices, anti-caking agents and mold inhibitors.
