The Shred-D-Tec foreign material inspection system is driven by an AI decision model that will reduce the impact from foreign material incidents and ultimately lead to higher quality product with increased production rates. These systems utilize high resolution imaging technology and a cloud-based library that supports the decision-making model. The system will scan shred, diced, or grated product as it waterfalls. The inspection system will be able to detect common low density materials that may have been introduced from the converting process or from inside the cheese blocks. These materials include: plastic, urethane, cardboard, and more.
